I began tutoring at the age of sixteen in high school to complete community service hours for the California Scholarship Federation, of which I am a life-time seal bearer. I genuinely enjoyed helping my peers in mathematics as well as the sciences. After graduating from high school, I was hired as a tutor at a private tutoring company and worked there for two years. During my time there, I was exposed to students ranging from kindergarten to college. After a few years, I knew I was ready to manage my own group of students as well as my individualized curriculum. I began tutoring students in elementary school after school and on the weekends. By word of mouth, my group of students has grown and I have expanded the subjects I tutor. In total, I have been tutoring for over seven years and have continuously been enlightened by each and every one of the individuals I tutor.
I graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in June of 2015 with a degree in psychology and course work completed for health-related graduate education. I am currently applying to dental school, but plan on continuing to provide services throughout graduate school and beyond. Educating and providing resources for individuals, especially those who are struggling in academics, has always been my priority, My students inspire me, and I hope to do the same.
